Catch up?!?

I keep thinking today is Monday, but thankfully it’s Tuesday because that means work commences again. There was a lot of concern we were going to fall behind yet again because the painter I was relying on to texture the walls went MIA. Low and behold Huan found someone (shout out to his friend Kyle) to come by and give an estimate and even better he said he could start today! In fact, these guys are so cool they are going to try to get everything done by this evening. That means, texture, prime and paint. Let’s just say we have become fast friends.

The paint we chose for the kitchen and pantry is the same we have in rest of the house- Benjamin Moore’s “Silver Satin.” We are gray folks. Love, love, love gray. It’s a versatile color that allows you to do a whole lot of other things around the house without interfering with the overall look. Plus, the color is neutral enough to beautifully blend with the cabinets, backsplash and countertop (stay tuned on that.) If all goes planned, then there is a slight possibility the cabinets may be installed as early as tomorrow. Woohoo!
